Week 3 – In the books

Week 3 of racing is in the books. We had a harder surface which may have affected the first time racers. Congrats to the newcomers and do not be afraid to try it again. Everyone who races can pick up points for their team. We still have 4 races to go to earn points. A lot can still happen.
We do have a little housekeeping to bring up. Some of the App Cup participants were running in the cafeteria, jumping around and lifting one of the game machines to try and get extra prizes. We are guests of App. Please be respectful of the property and the staff. The team at App may void your lift ticket for the rest of the night if it happens again. I hope we do not need to mention this again.
Some of the highlights from week 3 include:For Middle School:
Lily Rogers won the Ladies skiers for the second straight week with a 24.65. The ladies boarders was won by Sammie Dowling with a 40.52. The male skiers was won by Brendan O’Connor with a 22.15. The male boarders was won by Ryan Braun with a 33.48.
High school:Ladies skiers was won by Eva Young with a best time of the evening of 21.28. Nicole Yoos won the ladies boarders with a 28.51. She has won all 3. The male skiers was taken by George Young with a 21.90. He too has won all 3. The boarders winner was Jeb Laurenson with a 27.66. He too has won all 3.
